Who is Angkrish Raghuvanshi?

    Born in Delhi, Angkrish Raghuvanshi had his initial training in Gurgaon. Hailing from a family of athletes, Angkrish’s father, Avneesh Raghuvanshi is a former professional tennis player, whilst his mother, Malika Kapoor played basketball.

Moved to Mumbai

    At a very young age, Angkrish moved to Mumbai to train under Abhishek Nayar, who is currently associated witht the Knight Riders as their assistant coach.

Youngest to hit fifty for KKR in IPL

    The young batter demonstrated his skill when he took just 25 balls to reach his maiden IPL fifty. This leaves him behind only James Hopes, who scored a 24-ball fifty on his debut in 2008, as the second-fastest to achieve the feat.

Limelight

    Raghuvanshi stepped into the limelight with his performance in the 2022 Under 19 World Cup, where he accumulated a total of 278 runs in only 6 innings to finish as the leading run-scorer in the tournament.

Record for Mumbai

    Angkrish made his senior debut for the Mumbai team last year, in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match against Haryana. He scored a 24-ball 26 in that match.
