Which Expressway will see the change?
Starting April 1, commuters using both the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway and the Sohna elevated road will have to pay the toll charges, as the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has adjusted the rates for all vehicle categories.

For Light Vehicles
According to the sources, the commuters have to pay Rs 85 per trip at Kherki Daula toll plaza. Light commercial vehicles and mini-buses will have to pay Rs 120 per trip.

Heavy vehicles
Buses, trucks, and multiple axle vehicles will also see a rise and will have to pay Rs 250 per trip from the previous Rs 245.

Monthly passes
Monthly passes for private cars will now be available at Rs 930. Whereas the commercial vehicles can get the same at Rs 1,225.

Satellite-based toll collection system
Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that a satellite-based toll collection system will be introduced in place of the current system of toll collection under which money will be deducted directly from ones bank accounts based on the distance they have travelled.
