Aadhaar no longer accepted: Alternative documents valid as proof of Date of Birth

What has changed?

    The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has dropped the Aadhaar card from the list of documents acceptable as date of birth (DOB) proof.

Document No. 1

    A mark sheet issued by any recognised Government Board or University is valid as proof of your DOB.

    School Leaving Certificate (SLC)/ School Transfer Certificate (TC)/ SSC certificate containing Name and Date of Birth are valid as proof of your DOB.
