7 Instances of Paper Leak Throughout India

1. NEET Exam row

NEET UG 2024 took place on 5 may 2024 conducted by NTA. Patna Police had claimed in the court that the question paper of NEET UG has been leaked. A record 23 lakh candidates had registered for NEET (UG) this year.

2. REET Exam row (Rajasthan)

Held on September 26, REET 2021 over 16 lakh candidates apply for 31,000 posts in government schools. It is a mandatory exam for becoming a teacher in government schools. Despite rigorous measures and precautions, paper leak occurred.

3. Gujarat paper leak (GSSSB)

In 2021, the GSSSB had announced recruitment for 186 seats of Head Clerk. The examination was conducted on December 12, 2021, in which 88,000 candidates participated. The exam was canceled as the paper was leaked prior for 10-15 lakhs.

4. Constable exam paper leak (UP)

For the post of 60,000 constables in UP, over 48 lakh people appeared for the examination. However, the exam was canceled after the paper was leaked. The claim of the paper leak was dismissed by the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board.

5. UPPSC exam leak (UP)

Uttar Pradesh public service exam for review officer and assistant review officer that was to be held in February 2024 were canceled due to paper leak.

D EL. ED. paper leak (West Bengal)

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) examination in the year 2022 had the incident of paper leak an hour before the commencement of the examination.

Junior Office Assistant-Information Technology (JOA-IT) paper leak

The recruitment exam held under the HPSSC (Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission) was to be held on 25 december 2022, but the paper was leaked before the exam commencement could take place.
