1. Global Jain Peace Ambassador

    At an event in Karnataka on Wednesday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will confer Acharya Lokesh Muni with the title of Global Jain Peace Ambassador. This accolade is due to his efforts in raising the profile of Jainism and India internationally, as well as his commitment to the global promotion of peace and harmony.

2. National Communal Harmony Award

    The National Communal Harmony Award was given to Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni by the Indian government in 2010. The award was presented by Indian Vice President Mohd Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh.

    In recognition of his exceptional work in the area of interfaith harmony, Acharya Lokesh Muni received an honorary doctorate at the third international conference hosted by the Institute of Education Research and Development India Board of Alternative Medicines.
