Family Background

Bharadwaj Sai Sudharsan was born on 15 October 2001 in Chennai. Sudarshans father was an athlete who represented India at the South Asian Games in Dhaka, while his mother was a state-level volleyball player.

Stellar record in TPL

Sai Sudharsan played his first game in the 2021 edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League. The left-handed batter hammered 358 runs in eight innings at an average of 71.60 and strike rate of 143.77 to finish as the second-highest run-scorer in that season.

Averages 36 in T20 cricket

The 21-year-old cricketer has an average of 36.16. Sai can also bowl a bit of leg spin and can be used as and when necessary.

Educational background

In terms of his education, he graduated from his hometown of Chennai after completing his primary education from Vivekananda College, he earned a B.Com degree.

IPL 2022 Success

Sudharsan made an outstanding debut in 2022, where the southpaw scored 362 runs in 8 matches and played a crucial role in GTs title defense.

Sensational knock in IPL finals

Sudharsan hammered 96 runs off 47 balls in the IPL 2023 final against Chennai Super Kings. However, the Gujarat Titans failed to secure the title, and Sudharsans innings earned him a maiden call-up for Team India in T20I.
