Big faces dropped from India's T20 World Cup Squad

KL Rahul

The stalwart batter and skipper of LSG has been excluded from Indias T20 World Cup Squad. India has plenty of openers in the squad. And India has opted for specialist wicketkeepers instead of him.

Ruturaj Gaikwad

Ruturaj Gaikwad is captaining CSK this season. He is in the form of his life. He is in the race for orange cap as well. BCCI selectors preferred Yashasvi Jaiswal over him.

Ravi Bishnoi

LSG leg spinner was also excluded from the squad. He is the backbone of LSG.

Deepak Chahar

The swing bowler isnt part of the squad. He has been in and out of the squad due to fitness reasons.

Shardul Thakur

The Lord Thakur was a serprise excluison for the T20 World Cup squad. Since the Indian squad lacks a bowling allrounder, it was expected that he would be part of Indias quest of the World Cup.

T Natarajan

The T20 World Cup squad does not include the top bowler for SRH. So far in the IPL, his yorkers have been outstanding. He has been economical as well in the bowling. His exclusion is quite surprising.
