Early life
Prajwal is the gradson of former PM of India H D Deve Gowda and son of H D Revanna.

Political career
Prajwal started his political career in 2014 to assist his grandfather HD Deve Gowda with the Lok Sabha.

Prajwal again contested from Hassan in the 2014 general election for the Lok Sabha. On the day of polls, his polling agent had filed a complaint with the police alleging that some morphed photos and vieos of Prajwal were being circulated in Hassan district.
