Rescuers managed to drill through 24 meters into the rubble. Rescuers are hoping to evacuate the trapped workers by inserting 800 meters and 900 meters of steel pipes to create an escape route out of the tunnel. CM Dhami announced that the state government would provide accommodation, food and health facilities to the families of the trapped workers.
