Ram Mandir Ayodhya: PM Modi To Start Transformative Projects, Infrastructural Marvels

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil projects exceeding worth Rs 15,700 crore in Ayodhya on December 30, 2023.
Inauguration of Ayodhya Airport
Ayodhya Airport, developed at a cost of over Rs 1450 crore, is equipped to handle 10 lakh passengers annually. The terminal buildings facade mirrors the architecture of the upcoming Shri Ram Mandir. Sustainability features like LED lighting, rainwater harvesting, and a solar power plant ensure a GRIHA 5-star rating.
Redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station
Phase I of the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station, comes to life with a cost exceeding Rs 240 crore. This modern three-storey station boasts amenities like lifts, escalators, food plazas, and is accessible for all, being IGBC certified as a green station building.
Introduction of Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat Trains
The event will witness the Prime Minister flagging off the new category of superfast passenger trains - Amrit Bharat Express. These trains feature facilities like attractive seat designs, mobile charging points, LED lights, and CCTV. Additionally, six new Vande Bharat Trains, enhancing connectivity across the country, will be inaugurated.
Civic Infrastructure Boost in Ayodhya
To facilitate access to the Shri Ram Mandir, four redeveloped, widened, and beautified roads in Ayodhya - Rampath, Bhaktipath, Dharampath, and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path - will be inaugurated.
Greenfield Township and Urban Development
A greenfield township, developed at a cost of over Rs 2180 crore, will receive its foundation stone. Vashishtha Kunj Residential Scheme, with an approximate cost of Rs 300 crore, is also part of the transformative agenda.
Ayodhya's Cultural Heritage Strengthened
The foundation stone will be laid for conservation and beautification projects, including four historical entrance gates, new concrete ghats, and a visitor gallery for Deepotsav and other fairs at Ram Ki Paudi.
Nationwide Impact: Other Uttar Pradesh Projects
The PM will inaugurate and dedicate projects across Uttar Pradesh, such as the four-lane widening of Gosain Ki Bazar Bypass-Varanasi, LPG plant capacity increase in Trishundi, and sewage treatment plants in Pankha and Jajmau, among others.
