PM Modi Launches THESE Projects Worth Rs 10 Lakh Crore In UP

The launch will take place during the fourth ground-breaking ceremony of the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023.

Sectors Included

These projects span various sectors including manufacturing, renewable energy, IT and ITeS, food processing, housing and real estate, hospitality and entertainment, and education.

300 Proposals from MSMEs

A breakdown by department reveals nearly 300 proposals from the MSME and exports promotion department, amounting to approximately ₹45,000 crore, to be implemented at the GBC 4.0 (ground-breaking ceremony).

60 Proposals Implemented

The IT and electronics department will see around 60 proposals implemented, involving an investment of ₹62,000 crore.

40 Projects From Excise Department

Furthermore, the housing department is set to implement approximately 750 projects, with investments amounting to ₹57,000 crore, at the groundbreaking ceremony. Additionally, nearly 40 projects from the excise department, with an investment of about ₹7500 crore, are also on the agenda.

Ashok Leyland’s EV unit

Notable among the projects is the establishment of Ashok Leyland’s electric vehicle manufacturing unit on the premises of the now-closed Scooters India Limited (SIL) in Lucknow.

How much to Ayodhya?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated projects worth ₹10,155.79 crores for Ayodhya, and projects amounting to ₹13,486.63 crore will be initiated for Mathura.

Varanasi

For Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, projects worth ₹15,313.81 crore are scheduled to be launched.
