Timing
The voting will commence at 8:00 AM and conclude at 5:00 PM on April 19. One hour extra is provided as the buffer period for voters who are already present in the voting line.

About eight Union ministers, two former chief ministers and one ex-governor are among those who are set to test their electoral fate in the first phase of elections.
