Electoral bonds: Top 10 donors to political parties

The Election Commission on March 14 released the data on electoral bonds complying with the Supreme Courts directions. The State Bank of India shared the data with the poll panel on March 12.

Future Gaming and Hotel Services PR - ₹ 1,368 crore

Future Gaming and Hotel Services PR was founded by Santiago Martin, deemed as the Lottery King of India, in 1991. Future Gaming currently operates in 13 Indian states where the lottery is still legal.

Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd - ₹ 966 crore

MEIL, popularly known as Megha, made its first donation in April 2019 and its last one in October 2023. The company purchased bonds worth Rs 966 crore between 2019 and 2023. Its a Telangana-based industrial conglomerate, established in 1989.
