8 Rewarding Engineering Scholarships for Indian Students

1. Ratan Tata Scholarship for Engineering Students

This scholarship is provided by the Tata Education and Development Trust. The intention behind the initiative is to support eligible engineering students at Cornell University. Every year, the program distributes around twenty scholarships. The funds provided come to around $25 Million.

2. VIT University Ignite Scholarships

The Vellore Institute of Technology offers many scholarships scholarships to engineering students. One of these is the VIT Ignite Scholarship. The students ranking from the higher secondary exam and VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination) are taken into account for the assessment. From all over India, 202 students are picked for this scholarship. 25%-100% of their tuition fees is covered for 4 years.

3. Indian Oil Corporation Scholarships

4. NTPC Scholarship

5. Panasonic Ratti Chhatr Scholarship

This scholarship is provided by Panasonic and aims at aiding students who do not have a strong and stable financial background. It provides INR 42,500 every year for a duration of four years to B.E./B.Tech students. They can be enrolled in any Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

6. PMSS - Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme

This scholarship is offered to first-year students who are enrolled in certain institutions such as NITs and IITs.

7. AICTE PG - GATE/GPAT

There are two main criteria for this scholarship. You must have passed the GATE/GPAT exam. Also, you must have completed one degree and then must be pursuing further studies in engineering. This scholarship financially supports you for two years by supplying you with INR 12,400 every month.

8. Dhirubhai Ambani Scholarship Programme

Financial aid is provided to students enrolled in NITs, IITs, and IITs who meet the academic criteria.
