A brilliant orator

Being a gifted philosopher King has a great talent of composing engaging speeches and presenting them with raw emotions. His iconic I Have a Dream delivered at the Lincoln Memorial has been watched time and time again.

A Magnificent Musician

MLK played the piano and violin. Additionally, he took part in his college choir. He felt that music offered him with inspiration and solace.

A bright student

Being an incredible student he skipped two grades and started attending Morehouse at just the age of 15. At 19 he graduated with a degree in sociology, after which completed a doctorate in systematic theology.

A courageous personality

King faced many threats, potential violence, and was arrested 29 times for his activism. Despite this, he remained committed towards his agendas of nonviolent resistance and activism for equality.

An intellectual author

MLK was a skilled author who wrote 5 novels including Stride Toward Freedom and Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community?.

A resilient boxer

King was also skilled in the athletic field. He took boxing in school and expressed that it helped him stay disciplined and sharpen his self-defense skills.

Recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize

Martin Luther King Jr. was the youngest personality and still the youngest American to be presented the award. He earned the award at the age of 35 for his work towards racial inequality through nonviolence.
