Awarapan (2007) - A Bittersweet Life (2005)

Emraan Hashmi starer Awarapan was inspired from the Korean film A Bittersweet Life. Awarapan was not exactly a hit at the box office. However, the songs of Awarapan were a massive hit.

Barfi (2012) - Lover’s Concerto (2002)

Ranbir Kapoors Barfi was inspired from the Korean film Lover’s Concerto. Barfi became one of the most appreciated and super-hit Bollywood films.

Ek Villain (2014) - I Saw the Devil (2010)

A remake of the Korean movie I Saw the Devil, Ek Villain was a hit at the box office. It was a Bollywoodised romantic thriller.

Bharat (2019) - Ode to My Father (2014)

Salman Khans Bharat was inspired from the Korean movie Ode to My Father. Bharat failed to impress the viewers and the critics despite its huge box office collection.

Kartik Aaryans Dhamaka is inspired from the Korean movie The Terror Live. The Hindi remake did justice to the original Korean film, although movie was average at the box office.

Inspired from the Korean film The Outlaws Salman Khans film was a disappointment for his fans. The Outlaws was an R-rated crime action-thriller that failed to collect significant attention. On the other hand, The Outlaws is a super duper hit and eventually became one of the highest-grossing Korean films.

Dobaaraa (2022) - Into The Mirror (2003)

Taapsee Pannus Dobaaraa is inspired from Korean film Into The Mirror. Dobaaraa failed measurably at the box office although got recognition on Netflix.
