Opposition demands apology
Kamiya reached the Jagannath temple of Puri to record a video, after which a controversy arose. In Orissa, opposition parties BJP and Congress demanded an apology from Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Given the protests in the capital Bhubaneswar regarding this, the social media influencer shared a video on her Instagram page and gave his clarification.

Jani shared the video and said, My purpose behind visiting Shri Jagannath Temple in Puri was to seek blessings of God and to inform people about the development of infrastructure of the temple. Unfortunately, my visit has fallen into controversy.

BJPs bureaucrat-turned-politician V.K. Pandian has been accused of helping Jani to enter the temple. On the other hand, the influencer clarified, He is a Hindu and has never eaten beef nor has he ever promoted it.

Kamiya further said in the video, The temple administration has its own rules. I want to clarify that I have not broken any rules. I am a Hindu, I have neither eaten beef nor promoted it.

YouTuber Kamiya said that she is a food blogger. She brings to people different cuisines from different places around the world. The same thing happened in Kerala too, where videos and screenshots are being shared on social media to instigate people against them.
