The Lok Sabha Elections 2024 are set to begin on 19th April and will go on till 1st june 2024. Here is a list of long-sitting candidates who didnt get a ticket this time.
Delhi
Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Meenakshi Lekhi, Pravesh Sahib Singh and Ramesh Bidhuri are the four MPs who were dropped by BJP have been holding their seats since 2014. Gautam Gambhir opted out before the list for Delhi was announced.
Maharashtra
Pritam Munde has been replaced by her sister Pankaja Munde on their family bastion of Beed.
Gujarat
Darshana Jardosh has been replaced by Mukesh Bhai Chandrakant Dalal in Surat.
Haryana
BJP has deployed Banto Kataria - wife of deceased leader and former MP Rattan Lal Kataria, from Ambala and Suneeta Duggal was dropped in favor of Congress turncoat Ashok Tanwar.
Madhya Pradesh
Bhopals MP and the political sensation Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur has not received the ticket to contest elections from the BJP Front this time.
Karnataka
Former BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel has been dropped from the list on the seat of Dakshina Kannada and Pratap Simha has been replaced by Member of Mysuru Royal Family Yadauveer Wadiyar.
