France

Spain

Belgium

Portugal

Ireland

Established the Code of Practice on the Right to Disconnect in April 2021, granting employees the freedom to disconnect from work beyond normal hours.

Greece

Implemented Greek Law 4808/2021, giving teleworkers the right to disconnect from digital work-related communications outside normal hours.

Italy

Passed Law 81 of 22 May 2017, allowing employees to disconnect from work-related electronic communications after regular hours.

Slovakia

Amended the Slovak Labor Code in 2021, granting remote workers the right to disconnect during rest periods, holidays, and vacations.

Luxembourg

Amended its Labor Code in June 2023, introducing a right for employees to disconnect outside working hours, effective July 4, 2023.

Chile

Ensured the right to disconnect for remote workers, prohibiting employer contact for 12 uninterrupted hours in any 24-hour period.

Mexico

Issued new work-from-home rules in June 2023, including a right to disconnect for employees working remotely at least 40 per cent of the time.
