Zomato introduces traditional kurta uniforms for women in delivery Roles

Zomato declared that its female delivery partners will now be able to choose to wear kurtas as part of their uniforms rather than the company's typical t-shirts.  This choice was made in response to criticism from several female employees who felt uneasy wearing Zomato t-shirts in the western style.  Zomato posted a video along with the statement, "Starting today, Zomato women delivery partners can opt to wear a kurta," on LinkedIn.

Several Zomato delivery women could be seen in the video trying on the brand-new kurtas that the company was selling and taking part in what looked like a joyous photo session. Their words of appreciation and admiration for the company's kind gesture were captured on camera.
