New Delhi: A shocking incident unfolded in the Ghaziabad metro when a dispute over a seat escalated into physical violence, capturing the attention of fellow passengers and social media users. This heated argument erupted between two passengers inside a metro in Ghaziabad, Delhi-NCR, over a disputed seat, leading to a physical altercation. One of the passengers asserted that he was a constable with the crime branch of Hapur police, but the other passenger questioned his claim, pointing out that he was not a high-ranking commissioner. The disagreement escalated into a full-blown fight, with the self-proclaimed constable allegedly assaulting the other passenger and forcibly removing him from the metro.
The conflict began when a young man occupied a vacant seat, only to be challenged by another passenger who arrived later and attempted to share the same seat. When the first occupant refused to vacate the seat, a heated argument ensued, culminating in both individuals grasping each other's collars and engaging in a fierce fight. The altercation took a disturbing turn when one of the individuals, claiming to be a police constable, dragged the other passenger out of the metro station and transported him away in a private vehicle.
A video of the altercation, which originated on a metro travelling from Delhi to Ghaziabad, was shared on the social media platform 'X' by Ghar Ke Kalesh.
A viral video shows a heated exchange between two young men on a metro, with one claiming to be a member of the Crime Branch in Hapur, stating, "I am posted in the Crime Branch in Hapur." The other young man responds skeptically, saying, "You are not the Police Commissioner, are you?" The argument escalates into a prolonged physical altercation. A user shared the video on platform X, describing how the self-proclaimed Crime Branch member forcibly dragged the other man out of the metro at Ghaziabad's Shaheed Sthal Metro Station and forced him into a car. The Ghaziabad Police have stated that they are unaware of the incident, but will investigate if the video is brought to their attention.
