From quirky to quarrelsome

Dixit first gained online fame for her unique approach to food vending. Her "quirky antics," as some describe them, often involved playfully scolding customers – moments that were captured and shared on social media. However, this latest video showcases a different side of the vada pav girl.

The argument unfolds

The undated video depicts Dixit engaged in a heated argument with a group of people. Bystanders surround the scene, some recording the spat on their phones. Dixit's mother, riding an electric scooter, appears to be taking her side, yelling at those documenting the incident.

The situation escalates as Dixit's mother shouts, "Jisne tereko bheja hai uski video bana!" (Record video of the person who sent you!). Unable to escape the crowd, she resorts to verbal abuse before finally managing to speed away on her scooter amidst laughter from onlookers.

From verbal to physical

The video takes a further turn as Dixit charges towards a woman, seemingly the source of the initial argument with her mother. Shouting and physical contact ensue, with bystanders intervening to separate the two women. Despite their efforts, Dixit continues to yell furiously as the video ends.

Dixit, originally from Indore, transitioned from a four-year stint at Haldiram's to vada pav vendor. Seeking new opportunities, she relocated to Delhi and currently operates her stall near Keshav Mahavidyalaya in Pitampura. With her husband's support, she has built a thriving business, further amplified by her strong social media presence – over 200,000 followers on Instagram and 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.

This latest episode, however, raises questions about the impact of such online fame and the fine line between quirky and confrontational behavior.
