A video of the disgusting act has surfaced from Hapur city of Uttar Pradesh where a cook can be seen making roti (bread) after spitting on them. The incident was reported to be from a hotel on Bulandshahr Road in the city. Some boys allegedly shot the footage while sitting in the car and it has gone viral on social media platforms. Notably, several other videos of people spitting roti have gone viral from Meerut and Lucknow before this. In May 2022, another incident of spitting of roti was reported from a wedding ceremony in Meerut.
