New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) unveiled the results of the JEE Mains 2024 session 2, the highly anticipated entrance examination determining admission to undergraduate engineering programs. On Wednesday, April 24, aspiring engineers awaited eagerly as the outcomes were announced.

Top performers and noteworthy achievements

Nilkrishna Gajare, hailing from Maharashtra's Washim, emerged as the frontrunner, clinching the top position in the JEE Main 2024 examination. Following closely behind were Dakshesh Sanjay Mishra and Aarav Bhatt, securing AIR 2 and 3, respectively. Amidst the cohort of high achievers, Sanvi Jain, representing Karnataka, stood out as the all-India girls' topper, securing an impressive AIR 34.

In a candid interview with JEE Nexus by Unacademy, Sanvi Jain shed light on her journey to success, recounting the myriad challenges encountered during her preparation. Reflecting on her experiences, Jain remarked, "I encountered both highs and lows. At times, I faced setbacks in my performance, necessitating a meticulous review of my conceptual understanding. The intricacies of organic chemistry posed a formidable challenge, demanding extensive memorization. Despite the hurdles, I persevered and ultimately triumphed."

Sanvi Jain from Karnataka and Shayna Sinha from Delhi scripted history by attaining perfect NTA scores, a feat achieved by only 56 candidates this year. This exceptional accomplishment is poised to influence the cut-off criteria for the upcoming JEE (Advanced) examination, a pivotal gateway to prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) colleges.
