Noida: A minor dispute over parking spiraled into a violent ordeal for a couple on Thursday night as they were mercilessly thrashed by more than a dozen security guards at the Paras Tierea residential society in Sector 137. Shocking visuals of the incident have surfaced, prompting outrage and swift action from authorities, resulting in the arrest of six individuals involved in the assault.  

Parking dispute turns violent

The confrontation unfolded when a man and a woman found themselves surrounded by a group of security guards, engrossed in a heated argument stemming from a parking dispute within the premises of Noida's Paras Tierea society. What began as a verbal altercation quickly escalated into a brutal assault, with the man enduring blows from sticks and punches while the woman was subjected to physical aggression, including hair-pulling and being pushed to the ground.

Terrifying assault caught on camera

Captured on camera by a resident, the distressing footage reveals the harrowing sequence of events as the couple faced the wrath of the security guards. Amidst the chaos, a female security staffer aggressively targets the woman, while the man is subjected to a barrage of blows by the guards wielding plastic rods. The intensity of the assault is evident as the altercation persists for over five minutes, leaving the victims vulnerable and traumatized.

Lack of intervention, subsequent action

Despite the escalating violence, the on-duty supervisor and other guards remained passive observers, offering no intervention or assistance to the beleaguered couple. However, the arrival of law enforcement prompted a swift response, leading to the apprehension of six security guards implicated in the incident. They now face charges under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and are currently in custody, awaiting further legal proceedings.
