New Delhi: In a shocking turn of events, a businessman met a tragic demise after unknown assailants fired multiple rounds at him while he was sleeping in his SUV at a dhaba's parking lot in Murthal, Haryana. The incident, reminiscent of recent violent episodes in the region, unfolded at Gulshan Dhaba around 8:30 am on Sunday.

Victim identified as Sunder Malik

The victim, identified as Sunder Malik, hailed from Saragthal village in Gohana and was a 38-year-old liquor trader. The heart-wrenching episode, captured by CCTV cameras, depicts Sunder, clad in an orange hoodie and trousers, attempting to fend off his attackers as they mercilessly shot at him.

Eight police teams set up 

Upon receiving the distress call, law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene. Initial investigations revealed that around 35 bullets were discharged during the assault. Police authorities, led by Officer Gaurav Rajpurohit, have formed eight teams to track down and apprehend the perpetrators responsible for this heinous act.

Businessman's family in despair
