Days after the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) claimed that India is trying their level best to take out the Indian nations from the Russian war front, a viral video on social media has surfaced, which shows a group of seven men in army uniform, saying that they are being forced to fight the Ukraine war against their will.

The purported video shows six of them standing in a closed room and the seventh man talks about the situation. They also claimed that they traveled to Russia as tourists for the New Year celebration on December 27, last year.

Here’s what they said:

"On December 27, we arrived in Russia as tourists for the New Year and met an agent who assisted us in seeing various locations. He said he could drive us to Belarus, but we didn't know we would need a visa to enter the nation. After we traveled to Belarus and gave him money, he insisted on receiving more. We didn't have the money to pay him, so he left us on a highway," one of the men is heard saying in Hindi throughout the footage.

The seven men in the video are among several who are trapped in the war-hit country and are on the frontline for war, claiming that they were tricked to participate in the military services.

Meanwhile, the government last month informed that they are working closely with the counterpart to facilitate the release of Indian nationals who are caught up in Russia's war on Ukraine.

Reportedly, many Indians were promised support jobs but they were tricked and were allegedly given misleading translations of documents and forced to undergo military training.
