A video on social media has surfaced in which a Punjabi man is asking people to boycott Himachal Pradesh as he was abused during his recent visit to the state.

A has surfaced on social media which has ignited a debate on tourists' visit to Himachal Pradesh, which is among one of the favorite destinations of most Indians in summer. The video shows a Hindu Punjabi man who is speaking in the Punjabi language alleging that he was being abused during one of the recent visits to Himachal. 

In the video, he urged people to boycott Himachal as people get abused and mobbed on.

He further questioned, “Why non-Himachalis are treated poorly?”

The victim further said that people know how indigenous Punjabis are and asked what will happen to them if Punjabis become angry. The man further urged people to boycott Himachal for the next couple of years and choose to go to some other place.

Meanwhile, another controversy has been erupted in Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district over a video of cow slaughter being posted as a WhatsApp status. On June 19, Hindu organizations vandalized the shop of the person who posted the video and threw out all the goods. The person whom Hindu organizations are accusing is a resident of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. It is alleged that he posted a video of cow slaughter as a WhatsApp status on Eid.
