The Partition of India in 1947 was the change of political borders and the division of other assets that accompanied the dissolution of the British Raj in the Indian subcontinent and the creation of two independent dominions in South Asia: India and Pakistan. Now, a video is going viral on social media where a man from Lahore received a door, symbol of home and memories from Batala to Mumbai, then Dubai, Karachi and finally to Lahore, where Prof Amin Chohan lives. Whats in viral video So, the video is of Prof Amin Chohan who lives in Lahore. But, after partition, he left India and all the ancestral property. Now, after so many years, he has received a door as a gesture of shared heritage and friendship from his friend, Palwinder Singh from India. As the Prof Chohan unwrapped the door, his eyes filled with tears after seeing the door of his fathers home in Batala.
