A 23-year-old woman, Alyssa Ann Zinger, has been arrested again by the Tampa Police Department in the US. This follows accusations from four more victims, alleging that Zinger posed as a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activities with teenage boys.

Zinger was previously arrested in November on charges of engaging in sexual acts with a student and sending explicit videos to others.

Chief Lee Bercaw of the Tampa Police Department expressed his deep concern over adults exploiting and preying on children, describing it as disturbing and unsettling. He encouraged anyone who might have been victimized by Zinger to come forward. Bercaw assured potential victims of the department's support and emphasized their commitment to preventing further harm caused by individuals like Zinger.

What did offical say?

According to officials, the woman pretended to be a homeschooled teenager to prey on middle schoolers and asked them to engage in sex acts with younger boys. Authorities said she had sexual intercourse with the first victim multiple times. After that, she sent pornographic videos to several children over Snapchat.

What is the legal age of consent in Florida?

Despite the legal age of consent in Florida being 18, four more juvenile victims have now come forward, claiming that Zinger pretended to be a homeschooled 14-year-old to target middle school-aged boys.

Zinger now faces a total of 11 felonies, including charges related to molestation, battery, sexual cyber harassment, and possession of child pornography. During her initial court appearance, she pleaded not guilty and waived her right to an arraignment
