Mumbai Sahar Police has initiated an investigation after a 62-year-old US national was found dead in mysterious circumstances at a five-star hotel room in the Andheri area of Maharashtras Mumbai on Tuesday morning.According to the police officials, the deceased has been identified as Mark Williams, who arrived in Mumbai on March 9 and was planning to return on March 14.The US citizen was in Mumbai for a meeting and was staying at the hotel since March 9, officials said.Meanwhile, the Mumbai Sahar police have registered an accidental death report (ADR) and have started an investigation into the case. As per the preliminary investigation, the foreign national died of natural cause, with no suspicion of foul play in the incident.The information about the death of the US nation was given at around 10 am on Tuesday, after which the police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The body has been sent for post-mortem to the nearest hospital.Further investigation into the case is on.
