Uttar Pradesh: In Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, police had lodged a challan against a lineman for not wearing a helmet on a bike. The lineman, frustrated by this, finished the vendetta by severing the Katia electricity connection for the police station. What came as a shock was that the law-abiding policemen themselves were operating stolen electricity within the police station. The video of the lineman severing the connection from the police station is going fiercely viral on social media.

Electricity Department asserts that everyone is equal before the law

The lineman asserts that he was on patrol of the line on a bike, he kept stopping again and again to inspect the line, hence he was not wearing a helmet. Conversely, here the Under Engineer of the Electricity Department asserts that everyone is equal before the law. The police vs. electricity department incident has sparked much controversy in the district. The case is related to Sawaijpur police station in the district.

Katia cutting connection goes viral

The incident's video has gone viral on social media, in which the Katia connection of the police station is being cut by the lineman of the electricity department by entering the police station. Today, the police are challaning the bike of a helmet-less bike rider for traffic rule awareness in the district.

Because of this, Sawaijpur police had challaned the lineman's bike, who was inspecting the line on the bike. In that case, police had to challan the lineman Upendra Yadav of electricity department.

Police challaned on patrol

As per eye-witness accounts, as ever, under police station chief Prem Sagar Singh, the two-wheeler challan was in progress in terms of traffic rules at Sawaijpur police station's Vrindavan crossing when police challaned lineman Upendra Yadav's bike, which set out patrolling to mend the fault in the line from there. Upendra Yadav was riding his bike without wearing a helmet. On this, Upendra informed the police station that he was patrolling along the line riding the bike at a slow pace, but didn't listen to him and chopped the challan.

Law is equal for all- Junior Engineer

Angered by this, the lineman exploded the connection of the stolen power flowing in the police station. Other engineer Sarfaraz Ahmed, who is stationed at Sawaijpur Power House, stated that lineman Upendra Yadav had reported the police personnel misbehaving and challaning the bike. "Law is one for all. We obey traffic laws, but it is hard to scan the line wearing a helmet during petroleum time. It is hard to remove the helmet repeatedly and observe the line," he said, mentioning that the police department was also incinerating the katiya in the police station. A new police station was constructed recently, the electricity supply has not been established, due to which the Katia connection has been cut by the lineman.
