Residents of Maharashtra's Pune were left astounded when they witnessed an extraordinary sigh-a mosquito 'tornado.' The peculiar phenomenon caught on camera was shared on social media. 

The terrifying situation has sparked panic amongst residents, who complain that they they have been facing a lot of problems due to the mosquito menace. People living in luxurious high-rise buildings in these posh areas have been confined to their homes, and are unable to open their balcony doors.

Possible reasons behind it

The cause of this mosquito invasion is linked to an elevated water level in the Mula-Mutha River in Kharadi. 
Pune Municipal Corporation in action. Although the Pune Municipal Corporation initiated efforts to alleviate the excess water two days ago, the situation remains unresolved. 

How to deal with this kind of situation? 

Some ways of dealing with mosquitos include maintaining fly screens on windows, doors, vents, and chimneys. Use insect surface sprays both inside and outside the house to kill mosquitoes. Effective mosquito repellent on exposed skin and removing stagnant water, which can help in effectively controlling mosquito-related problems.
