Two newly-appointed SIs suspended for making REELS with local builder | WATCH

Trainee sub-inspectors Dharmendra Sharma and Ritesh Kumar posted at Ghaziabad’s Ankur Vihar Police Station have been suspended by the police department for making a reel with property dealer Sartaz Choudhary. The whole episode came to light when the video went viral on social media. Soon after getting aware of this, the police registered a case against Sartaz and arrested him. The trainee sub-inspectors have been suspended and orders are given for departmental inquiry against them.

How did the incident come to light?

Sartaz, the builder himself uploaded these reels on social media. There are a total of three reels. In one, both the trainees are seen sitting with him in his office. In the second, Sartaz is walking as if he is a protected VIP and both the trainees are deployed for his security. Both are walking by his side. In the third video, Sartaz can walk ahead after parking two luxury cars on the road. There is no traffic visible on the road.

By looking at the reel, it can be assumed that both the officers are very close to the property dealer and were called only to make the reel. Only three people are visible in the reel, whereas the recording for the video has been done by someone else. 

According to the sources, both under trainee sub-inspectors Dharmendra Sharma and Ritesh Kumar are posted in Ankur Vihar police station, whereas, the property dealer has his office in the Pavi Sadakpur area of Tronica City police station area.
