SUV drags bike across Gurugram, spurring sparks along the route

An SUV was seen driving along a nearly deserted road while sparks were flying everywhere. The footage was captured by CCTV cameras. The driver of the automobile was attempting to flee after colliding with a man on a bike in Gurgaon.

Here's what happened! 

When a Nexon vehicle struck a bike in the Cyber City neighbourhood of Gurgaon, the driver dragged the bike beneath the SUV for over a km rather than stopping to see how the rider was doing or offering assistance. 

The victim...

Sanjay, a manager at a PUMA showroom, was heading home when the accident occurred just after 11 p.m. The accident knocked Sanjay off his bike and onto the side of the road. The villagers hurried him to the civil hospital after he suffered head injuries.

Decoding the mishap 

Sanjay was on his way home from his job at Sector 14, where he chose the road to Gurudwara. The pillion crossed the street at the chowk next to Harish Bakery, where the car struck him while racing down the lane. From his hospital bed, he remarked, "The speed was so high that I was hit before I could cross."

The crash knocked Sanjay off the bike and onto the road. However, the vehicle pulled the bike for about a kilometre before abandoning it and taking off. The driver of the SUV is wanted by the police, who have opened a case.
