An Uber driver and his passenger got into a violent disagreement over a simple request to switch on the air conditioning in a weird event in Bengaluru. The heated conversation between the driver and passenger over the broken air conditioning is captured in a video that has been published on "X."

What transpired?

In the video, which is available on the "Ghar Ke Kalesh" page, the passenger questions the driver about the reason behind his outburst. After the passenger started speaking in Hindi, the driver lost his temper and made the passenger talk in Kannada.
The passenger, Dr. Atharv Dawar, clarified that he asked the driver to turn on the air conditioning, and that is when the problem started. The driver declined, saying there was an issue with it. Dr. Dawar stated that even though the driver initially spoke to them in Hindi, Things got worse when he eventually insisted on Kannada.

The context of the incident

Given that everyone is developing an opinion, allow me to provide some context: the 16-second video comes first, followed by the other video. I refused to take a seat in his friend's dirty, airless Indica. Afterward, as I was sitting in his car, he spoke to me only in Hindi," Mr. Dawar shared the recordings on X. Yet once I told him to turn on the air conditioning, he became energized. He says, "Hey, AC nahi hai," in Hindi. The issue at hand is not language; rather, it concerns haughty and careless individuals who are exploiting the Kannada language as a cover to deceive credulous individuals who travel to BLR for employment," he went on. Along with reporting the driver to Uber Support, Dr. Dawar also shared a picture of the cab's number.

Viral with public outrage

The video went viral quickly and sparked a variety of public responses. "I feel the driver to be arrogant in this scenario," remarked one viewer. He is not answering the question, and while he is attempting to be cooperative and is not requesting that the driver talk in Hindi or any other language, I am not sure why the driver is acting in this manner.

"You are not alone here. It becomes a trait 4 drivers to alter position once they arrive," said another person. Sadly, taxi aggregators lack electricity or choose not to 2. A consistent raking mechanism must be implemented, and drivers who receive unfavorable assessments must be temporarily removed from the rosters. The video has received over a million views since it was uploaded.
