In China, futuristic urinals have come up in major cities like Beijing and Sanghai, offering automated health monitoring through urine analysis. However, these pots are currently installed only in some men's restrooms in some Chinese cities like Beijing, Shanghai etc. It has been claimed that the test will cost only $2.76 (about Rs 230). They provide a convenient way for people to manage their health while using public restrooms.
Shanghai-based documentary director Peterson-Clawson has posted a thread on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) about this high-tech pot. In this he has explained about this pot in details. He has said that it has been made by a private company and the company plans to install it all over China. He also said that the main purpose of installing it is that people can know about their health in time and if there is any disease, it can be treated in time.
Recently Health Checking Urinals have begun popping up in Men's restrooms all over Shanghai.

A private company is offering the urine analysis for RMB 20. Naturally I tried that out.
Here's how that went. pic.twitter.com/1enzII4b7E
This machine does many tests of urine. It contains Vitamin C, Calcium, pH value, Creatinine, White Blood Cells, Glucose etc. However, a disclaimer is also written on this machine. It is written in it that this machine is not a medical device. Also, do not start treatment on the basis of its results.
As soon as you discharge the urine in this pot. This machine starts doing its work. It has a screen attached to it. The urine result appears on the screen within about 2 minutes. It also comes with a QR code. To get this result in your phone, you will have to scan the QR code. To get the result, you will have to pay approximately $2.76 i.e. approximately Rs 230.
