Shocking! Man brutally stabbed to death after fight over queue for haircut in Delhi

Police identified the victim as Shahzad Ali. Four accused have been apprehended but police are yet to verify whether they are adults or minors.

In a shocking incident, a barber at Samaypur Badli in outer Delhi was stabbed by four people on Sunday afternoon. 

According to the information, the incident happened  where three to four people attacked the young man with a knife and killed him. However, the victim succumbed to his injuries at a city hospital on Monday. Shahzad had called for help, but the people standing there were just seeing the whole incident.

Identity of deceased 

The deceased is identified as Shahzad Ali, 22, a resident of Mandir Mohalla in Samaipur, who operated a barber shop in the Bhagwanpur slums. 

Police action 

According to the information received, the Delhi Police team has detained an accused in this case, but it is not yet clear why the accused  committed the murder. At present, the police have handed over the body to the family members after post-mortem. However, two of them have shared documents which claim that they are minors. 

Initially, police registered a case under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 34 (common intention) at the Samaypur Badli police station. After Ali's death, section 302 (punishment for murder) was added to the FIR. 
Further investigation into the case is underway.
