Their attempt to elope from home was thwarted when they were apprehended by authorities at Jamui railway station. The incident shed light on a clandestine affair that spanned four years and ended abruptly at the hands of the Government Railway Police (GRP).

The saga begins with Mohd. Taj Ansari, a resident of Sohra village, who had been romantically involved with the minor daughter of Ramvriksh Yadav, a fellow villager, for the past four years. Their love story blossomed amidst the confines of their coaching classes, where they found solace and companionship in each other's company.

The escape plan unravels

Last Friday, during the minor girl's visit to school for an intermediate test exam, the couple devised a plan to flee from their surroundings. With the help of a friend, Mohd. Taj Ansari escorted his beloved to Jamui railway station, hoping to embark on a journey to Kolkata and start a new life together. However, their aspirations were dashed when GRP personnel grew suspicious of the young duo.

Foiled by authorities

Interrogation by the GRP revealed inconsistencies in their story, prompting further investigation into their intentions. It became apparent that the lovers' escape plan was meticulously crafted to evade the girl's vigilant father. Disguised in a hijab, the girl managed to slip past her father unnoticed, but their rendezvous at the railway station was short-lived as authorities intervened.
