SHOCKING! Birthday celebration ends in tragedy as 10-year-old girl dies after eating cake

Last week, a birthday celebration turned into a heartbreaking incident as a 10-year-old girl from Punjab passed away after consuming a cake. The entire family, including her younger sister, fell ill after eating the cake, which was ordered online from a bakery in Patiala, as shared by her grandfather.

The victim, Manvi, was captured on a widely shared video, where she is cutting the cake and celebrating her birthday with family on social media, just hours before the tragic incident occurred.

How did the tragic incident unfolded?

According to her grandfather, Harban Lal, the family began feeling unwell around 10 PM on March 24, shortly after consuming the cake. Manvi and her sister started vomiting, and Manvi complained of extreme thirst and dryness in her mouth before going to bed.

As Manvi's health worsened the next morning, the family rushed her to the hospital. Despite being administered oxygen and undergoing an electrocardiogram (ECG) to monitor her heart's activity, she couldn't be saved and was declared dead shortly after arrival, Harban Lal confirmed.

The family suspects that the chocolate cake from 'Cake Kanha' contained a poisonous substance, leading to the tragic outcome.

An FIR has been filed against the bakery owner, and investigations are underway. The postmortem has been conducted, and samples from the cake have been sent for testing to ascertain the cause of Manvi's untimely demise. The family is awaiting the results of the investigation.
