Shark Tank India: Business entrepreneur Anupam Mittal finds himself amidst a wave of newfound fame, particularly following his role as a judge on Shark Tank India. While reveling in his rise to stardom, Mittal humbly accepts that his celebrity status doesn't quite rival that of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan.

In an exclusive interview, Mittal opened up about the impact of his celebrity status on his life. Having served as a judge on Shark Tank India since its inception, he has experienced a significant shift in public recognition and attention.

"The celebrityhood, the stardom, the name, it has affected my life hugely," Mittal remarked. He pointed out that while he can still navigate public spaces without the overwhelming attention Shah Rukh Khan might attract, certain situations have become noticeably more crowded and demanding of his time.

Challenges of moving through public spaces

"Airports and all are a big mess," he quipped, highlighting the challenges of moving through public spaces. "If you go to an event, it becomes tough, it becomes very crowded."

Mittal recounted a humorous incident from last year when a fan on a bike attempted to snag a quick photo opportunity while he was crossing the road. "I was like, ‘Boss what are you doing?’" he chuckled, illustrating the unexpected encounters that come with newfound fame.

Despite the occasional chaos, Mittal maintains a grounded perspective, recognizing that his celebrity status has its limitations. "A lot of people will look twice but walk away thinking, ‘nahi ho sakta' (it can't be)," he mused, acknowledging the disbelief that often accompanies spotting a familiar face in unexpected places.

Currently, Mittal continues his role as a judge on Shark Tank India Season 3, alongside fellow entrepreneurs Vineeta Singh, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, and six new judges who have joined the show this season.
