The Bhopal Police arrested a couple after their video surfaced on social media that showed them beating their grandmother.Taking cognizance of the purported video, the police officials have initiated an investigation into the case. The video which has been shared widely on social media, shows a man who can be seen holding the old woman tightly, while his wife appears to be hitting her with a wooden scale.Responding to the incident, Bhopal Police tweeted, “The accused have been identified as Deepak Sen and his wife Pooja Sen, resident of Jhansi Hall Barkhedi in Jahangirabad police station, against whom a criminal case has been registered and both the accused have been searched and arrested.
