Seduction that led to Crime: Luxury Homeowners Duped, Caught Gang Exposes Operation

Police has recovered cash worth 40 thousand rupees from the possession of the accused from the amount extorted from a person. 12 cases are registered against Badal Dedha in various police stations of Delhi, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Hapur. Police is also investigating the criminal record of the other accused youth including the girl. 

The accused have accepted during interrogation that they used to do recce of rich people in NCR who give their houses on rent. The houses were rented for a high amount. The girl was sent to live there as a tenant. The girl used to trap the landlord or his sons there. She used to record their conversations on the phone. She used to call them to her room and makes videos.

After this, they used to extort money by blackmailing. On refusing to pay, they used to threaten to register a case accusing of rape. They used to threaten to make the video and phone recording viral on social media. The landlord used to agree to pay the money to avoid social shame. Police investigation has revealed that the youth Badal and girl Zehra, who were running the honeytrap, are 10th fail, while Prince is a BA student.

The Police examined the CCTV installed there and also questioned the victim. She said that the incident took place between 7:30 and 8:30 in the morning. In the CCTV footage, the girl's real sister was also present there during the time interval of the incident. Continuous movement of other tenants was seen in the camera.
