Pop icon Rihanna recently opened up about her quick trip to India for the high-profile Ambani wedding celebrations during a live stream chat with best friend Melissa Forde. The duo were returning from the festivities in Gujarat when Melissa went live on Instagram Friday night.

Covering her face playfully, Rihanna remarked "Is this live for real?" She gushed about her time in India, saying "I had the best time in India. I only have two days. The only reason I am leaving India is because my kids are (unclear audio). I have to come back."

Rihanna made quite an impression during her brief stay, charming fans and photographers at the Jamnagar airport with smiles and hugs. She even embraced female police officers before departing.

The global superstar delivered an electrifying performance at the lavish pre-wedding bash for Mukesh Ambani's son Anant and fiancée Radhika Merchant. Clad in a shimmery neon ensemble, Rihanna unleashed hits like "Diamonds," "Where Have You Been" and "Pour It Up" during her debut India gig on Thursday.

"Thanks to the Ambani family, I'm here tonight in honour of Anant and Radhika. Thank you for having me here. God bless your union. I wish you the best. Congratulations," she told the crowd.

As "We Found Love" played, Rihanna interacted with attendees about believing in love. "Make some noise for love right now. Send some extra love to the bride. It's my honour to be here and I want you to put your hands together like this," she said, before delivering the smash hit.

The Ambanis presented Rihanna flowers and posed for photos as a family after her powerful performance. Though brief, the global icon's visit left a lasting impression on both her Indian fans and hosts.
