New Delhi: In a shocking incident Himachal Pradesh's Chamba where a young woman fell into a gorge while attempting to record a social media reel, fortunate to escape with only minor injuries. This alarming incident illustrates the extreme measures some individuals are willing to take to gain online recognition, sparking concerns about the pressures and risks associated with social media culture.
The young woman, who was filming a reel, lost her footing and tumbled into a gorge. Fortunately, she avoided severe injury and survived the fall. She later revealed that her slip occurred while filming, but miraculously, she sustained no serious injuries.
It is notable that this was not the first time she had engaged in risky behaviour for the sake of creating content. Previously, she has made videos that involved climbing on large iron bridges and scaling massive trees, potentially influencing the younger generation in a negative way. The recent fall was captured on video and has since gone viral across multiple platforms.

Authorities have responded to the incident with concern. The police chief has urged young people to avoid creating content that puts their lives at risk. “Chamba police are always here to support the people of Chamba, but we strongly advise against making dangerous videos,” he stated. Additionally, the Chairperson of the District Council of Chamba acknowledged the young woman’s talent but emphasized the importance of not engaging in hazardous activities for content creation.
