Sajjan Kumar was stopped to buy food at the Prayagraj intersection on Sunday, April 14. At 11.18 am, the Guwahati-Bikaner train (number 15634) arrived at the Prayagraj station. After receiving the all-clear, the train departed the station promptly at 11:35 a.m. But even as the train was going, 63-year-old Sajjan Kumar attempted to board it after discovering that it had begun to move. At this point, he stumbled while attempting to climb aboard the train by gripping the AC coach handle. How did it happen The 63-year-old, however, loses balance and runs the risk of sliding into the space between the platform and the train instead of getting onto the train. Sanjay Kumar Rawat, a vigilant policeman, notices Sajjan Kumar approaching him and moves to stop him from attempting to enter the moving train. Mighty pull! With all of his might, the vigilant policeman drags Sajjan Kumar back onto the platform, making sure he lands securely there rather than in the space between the train and the platform. CCTV footage captured the entire episode, and the Railways commended the officer for his audacious action. The train policeman was also praised by the victim for saving his life. Sajjan Kumar, a Jaipur resident, was permitted to take a different train to his final destination.
