The festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated across the country today. This day is very special for Lord Ram as well as his devotees. Ram Navami is the day of the birth of Lord Ram. This auspicious occasion falls every year on the ninth date of Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra. On this occasion, the whole country was waiting for Ram Lalla's 'Surya Abhishek' in Ayodhya, which is now over.

On the occasion of Ram Navami, the sun's rays fell on Ram Lala's forehead in the form of 'Surya Tilak' in the Ram temple in Ayodhya. This was the first Ram Navami after the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram in the new temple, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 22.

When did Surya Tilak happen?

On the special occasion of Ram Navami, the time for Surya Tilak of Ramlala was given between 12 and 12:15 pm today. According to the Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Shri Ram was born at this time in Tretayuga. Today there is an auspicious time of about two and a half hours to worship Lord Ram, which will be from 11.05 am to 1.35 pm.
