Rajat Dalal, a bodybuilder, Instagram fitness influencer, and power-lifter known for his extreme fitness videos, has been accused of abduction and brutal assault. A video surfaced online showing Dalal mistreating a student in an inhumane manner, smearing cow dung on his face, and forcing him to clean a toilet. Dalal reportedly also urinated on the students face and physically assaulted him. The student had posted a viral video on social media, which led to this incident. Following a complaint from the victim, Dalal has been arrested.Offense Following a Gym PostThe confrontation began when the student shared a video of Rajat in gym frequently visited by the influencer. Dalal, who also shoots fitness videos and provides training at the gym, was tagged in the photo. The student captioned the image with, Every morning, seeing your face at the gym ruins my day, which offended Dalal. Dalal reportedly threatened the student, saying, How dare you make my video I will cut you into pieces and not spare you. The assault was recorded and circulated on social media. In the video, Dalal and his friends are seen hitting the student inside a car, forcing him to call Dalal Papa and apologize for the social media post.Brutality at Cowshed and FlatThe student was then taken to a cowshed in Chandkhed, where cow dung was smeared on his face, and he was beaten with slippers. The assailants recorded the entire assault. Following this, Dalal took the student to a flat, where he was forced to clean the toilet and was further thrashed. Dalal urinated on the students face after he lost consciousness. After the assault, Dalal dropped the student near his home and threatened his mother, boasting about his connections and influence over the police.Police Action and ArrestFollowing the assault, the student sought medical attention and reported the incident to the Sabarmati Police Station in Ahmedabad. The police quickly initiated an investigation, leading to the arrest of Rajat Dalal and his three associates.
