Gunwant Kalal, a local journalist in Dungarpur, Rajasthan, became a hero on March 31 after he challenged a leopard while on assignment. The dramatic event happened in the village of Gadiya Bhadar Metwala, close to the Bhadar forest, where the journalist encountered the dangerous predator. The incident started when the locals noticed the leopard, which was hunting for a nilgai close to a pond behind a house, and approached it. During the fight, the leopard tried to grab his hand, but Kalal grabbed it by the neck and jaw, overwhelming it with pure willpower.
