The video, believed to be from Amritsar, shows the girl struggling to stand while dancing under the influence. Sunanda Roy, a social media user, posted the video on the platform X, along with two other clips showing a woman and a man in similar states of intoxication. 

She criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, claiming he has turned Punjab into "San Francisco," implying rampant drug use in the state. Her post highlighted the severe impact of drug addiction, with people unable to walk or stand properly.

Public outcry after video goes viral

Another user shared the video on X, suggesting that the young girl, who appears to be around 20 years old, might be exploited for drugs and money. This sentiment echoes a growing concern among the public about the worsening drug problem in Punjab.

This isn't the first time such videos have surfaced. Similar clips of drug-addicted individuals in Punjab have gone viral before, sparking widespread criticism of the government. Many people accuse the authorities of failing to tackle the drug menace, despite numerous claims of taking action.

Tragic deaths highlight crisis

The video went viral shortly after two young men died of drug overdoses in Punjab. A 22-year-old from Tarn Taran and a 24-year-old from Moga lost their lives, leading their families to blame the government. They accused the Aam Aadmi Party of failing to deliver on its promise to make Punjab drug-free, as drug-related deaths continue to rise.
